An addiction…

My knowing is that most people get stuck in looping thoughts, emotions, or behaviors because they’re stuck in their mind and not in their body.

Looping is a symptom of an out-of-alignment mind.

Flow, ease, being resourced, living fully from your knowingness, taking aligned action, recovering from mistakes quickly… those are symptoms of aligned embodiment.

So…

How do we get out of the mind and into the body?

First, it’s important to acknowledge and accept how your mind has been keeping you functioning, alive, and in belonging for a long time.

So offering your looping or stuckness some love and acceptance is the first step.

We don’t heal by resisting or shaming what is, even our most dysfunctional patterns.

We heal through being able to take a step out of it for perspective, and then pouring love and acceptance of all parts of ourselves.

This doesn't mean we have to keep these patterns around in the same form.

But every. single. time… as we pour love and acceptance on the most annoying or dysfunctional or “shameful” (I put that in quotes because I don't believe anything or anyone deserves to be shamed - including parts of ourselves that we don't like) parts of ourselves…

They soften and melt and we can see what's even deeper…

And we can begin the internal restructuring process that is only possible by creating softness first in our deepest neural pathways, ingrained patterns, or looping thoughts.

Once we’ve established acceptance, we can use practices to invite consciousness out of the mind and into the body.

This is another process that requires tenderness and acceptance because as we drop into the body, all of the sudden everything we’ve been resisting in the body becomes apparent.

Looping is a mind addiction, and just like other forms of addiction, as you begin the withdrawal process… the most challenging part is feeling again all that you've been numbing.

Stored emotional, sexual, physical pain… all symptoms of deeper constriction points that live in the body.

We are able to gently untangle all of these knots, and it can take some time to do this.

It requires a lot of support and perspective of the long game, both from you and your therapist or healer.

Yes, healing is quantum and can happen in an instant AND … embodiment after years of avoiding it often involves feeling what needs to be felt… which can take time so we're not overloading your whole system and creating a “healing-hangover” or burnout or another form of overwhelm.

On the other side of this process, though, whether “fast” or measured, is a renewed sense of self, a sense of direction, a knowing of your purpose, an embodied presence in who you are.

The ability to move through life with ease depends on your ability to align yourself with ease as a concept and frequency, and there’s no way to do that if you’re carrying dis-ease in your body or your mind, in the form of looping or destructive behaviors or thoughts.

I’ve curated a workshop and group therapy hybrid experience because I’m so passionate about helping people through this process.

It’s not about healing or band-aiding symptoms with coping mechanisms or quick tips and tricks …

This is about creating/remembering the type of humans we are meant to be, so we can collectively create the world that is meant to be.
